I remember an incident which happened a few years back and I want to share it with friends and clients.

Around 2008 I was discussing with a client ( a reputable professional man from Cyprus) the possibility of him investing in Romania. I recommended to him to buy a building in the northern area of Bucharest which was let with an income of around 10% on the investment of E1 million euros. (more…)

Leaving 2013 for 2014

Some analysts believe that 2013 was the bottom of the crisis. This seems to be true for a number of counties and it varies from country to country depending on the extent to which it was affected by the crisis.

Some of the European countries recorded during 2013 positive growth in several sectors indicating recovery. Romania is among the best which recorded increase in several sectors, such as the industrial production and housing prices. (more…)

Investors in Romania entering the property investments showed an increased interest in speculative investments, i.e. buying a piece of land, converting it from agricultural land to buildable plots with a view of selling it with big profit. GENERAL RULE: Business is risk, where there is no risk there is no business.

Where a greater risk is envisaged, a bigger return is expected. Among various investment proposals, the less risky business is investment in properties. In this area of investment there are possibilities for greater return with relatively small risk. (more…)
