 A nice tale from Aesop that came back recently to my memory and I wanted to share it with you:

A Crow (black big bird) which was on a tree with a piece  of cheese in its mouth. The sly fox was watching the craw and it used a clever way to get the cheese. (more…)

Aesops Tales

Here is a nice fable by Aesop, the ancient Greek writer who wrote meaningful stories with animals and birds:

One day in old times a carpenter gave to his young assistant a piece of meat he bought from a nearby butcher instructing him to take it home and give it to his beloved one (meaning of course his wife in order to cook for  the dinner (on those days these assistants were usually working only for food and to get trained for their job).
